Jason Mauck is a farmer from Gaston, IN. Jason is a self-described "ag dork" that farms 3,000 acres of corn, beans, and wheat with his family as well as finishing 25,000 market hogs per year. Manure occurs quite frequently on his operation and he believes increasing sun capture and living roots utilizing several plant species throughout the growing season can manage our finite resources more efficiently decreasing our inputs producing more with less.
Jason is just a few years into this path and will share his mistakes and what he has learned along the way. He feels like there are not any answers in agriculture. Everything is interconnected meaning each action we make changes everything.
